Craig Slater, owner of Slater Cabinets and More started in the cabinet business as a teenager working in a cabinet shop in California. Although he pursued other careers over the years, he continued to build cabinets on a part-time basis until returning to this work fulltime in 2014. He also began learning about granite and countertop installation at this time and grew increasingly interested in this new challenge.

Craig has grown Slater Cabinets and More from part-time side work into a successful multi-employee business. In 2020, son Steven joined the family business to assist with the daily operations and customer installations, and in 2021 stepson, Garrett, joined the business to open the new warehouse and showroom. Craig is married to wife, Lori, and has a daughter, Ashley, that teaches middle school in Republic. He has built many ongoing relationships and repeat business with homeowners, contractors, and realtors throughout Springfield and surrounding areas.
